Intestinal Candida symptoms vary quite a lot and it is not very easy to distinguish from the symptoms of many other diseases. The human intestine is the habitat of the Candida albicans fungus and the intestines is therefore also the prime target of attack for Candida yeast infection. Once the fungus can penetrate the colon wall it will spread all over the body, affecting almost all the organs in the body from the skin and nails to the brain. This is when you will be experiencing intestinal Candida symptoms, such as; Abdominal Pain, Bloating, Colitis, Constipation, Diarrhea, Food Allergies, Gas, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Leaky Gut Syndrome, Rectal Itching, Sugar Cravings, Intestinal Ulcers and many others.

A very large number of people all over the world suffer from intestinal yeast infections without even knowing about it. Usually the the first signs are indigestion, bloating and gas, and if not treated properly then it can start to cause low energy levels, pain in the muscles and poor concentration.

Many people don't stop and think what is causing this and take antacids to stop the burning of the indigestion, and to cut down the gas problem. This is not a good idea. What do you say is the best to do with weed in your garden? Just cutting it or will it be better to pull it out?  Remember that antacids are only masking your intestinal candida symptoms by suppressing one symptom and has no effect on the root cause of the problem.

This type of actions will start a vicious cycle. The Candida is not killed by the antacids and keeping on multiplying until it is strong enough in numbers to attack your abdominal wall which is when you will start experiencing those nasty intestinal Candida symptoms listed before.

That is when a symptoms like indigestion and a bit of gas will turn into much more serious symptoms like:

  • tiredness, aching joints and muscles

  • recurrent/chronic vaginal fungal infections

  • urinary tract infections

  • mood swings, brain fog, concentration problems

  • skin disorders

  • toxic liver

  • food allergies

The best is to always treat any intestinal problems with natural treatments. It is adviseable not take over the counter relief at the first signs of intestinal problems. Many of those medications could make your yeast infection worse by causing an imbalance in your intestinal flora, and weakening your immune system. Your immune system must always be strong to prevent candida overgrowth.

In most cases a natural treatment regime can stop your suffering, improve your immune system and re-balance the flora.
